For parents with young tikes who like to wake up early even on Saturday and Sunday, there is a new digital photo clock that lets kids know when it’s time to get up and when it’s time to stay in bed a little longer.
Gregory Schmidt writes about the Zazoo Kids product on his New York Times blog Gadgetwise. The device uses a digital readout supplemented with photos that change on a 7-inch LCD screen at predetermined sleep and wake-up times. Gregory actually loaded a picture of the family cat awake and curled up sleeping.
Plus, the photo clock grows as the children grow. The clock has a ringing alarm that can be used to help get kids up—and as parents of teenagers know, those youngsters will eventually be hard to shake out of bed in the morning! The photo clock can also play video clips, songs and slide shows.
Pretty cool!
